I hope everyone is well and safe from the storms that came through last Friday night! It was scary! I guess Spring is coming in "Like a Lion!" I don't know about you, but I am ready for warmer weather (even though we haven't had it very cold)!
We are continuing out unit on money and starting a new unit on time! We have done time in small doses, but the unit coming up in math is about telling time to the hour! Check the homework this week! It should be really easy!
March 17th is St. Patrick's Day! We will be celebrating on the 16th by trying to catch "Lucky" the Leprechaun! We have to whisper his name and the word, 'leprechaun' so that we don't scare him away! I am sending home a note about how to make a 'trap' for Lucky! Please don't fret! This is not supposed to be a hard task! A plastic bowl and gold coin work wonders! Use your imaginations! That is the only 'homework' I am requiring. It is due on March 12th. However, I am still asking that your child practice reading to you each night!
We will continue our studies this week about Dr. Seuss! We are having wonderful fun learning about his funny, silly characters!
